SANDY, Utah, June 24, 2002 - Callware Technologies will be debuting the latest version of Callegra at the New York PC Expo from June 25-27 at the Javits Center. Callegra .UM, which was developed under the code-name Alaska, offers new XML based client applications, a new remote administrator, and a new development platform for system integrators and OEMs. Hosted within the Microsoft Partner Pavilion (Booth 3604), Callware will have a complete system available for attendees. CallegraWEB (ver. 2) not only has a new look and feel, it also brings advanced self-administration to Callegra users. “Ultimately, the system administrator controls the level of access, but users are now able to modify their own notification parameters, greeting schedules, and many other system functions that bring new levels of personalization to unified messaging systems via a browser based client,” said Reino Kerttula, CEO of Callware Technologies. Callegra’s integration with Microsoft Outlook has also been redesigned to leverage the new capabilities of Outlook XP. The new integration has a smaller footprint at the desktop. The CallegraINBOX for Microsoft Outlook XP also takes advantage of the personalization and self-administration capabilities developed in CallegraWEB. Callegra System Administrators are anxious to see the introduction of a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in for Callegra Box Administration. CallegraADMIN for MMC brings faster performance, scalability to over 100,000 users, and voice and fax mailbox remote management capability without requiring additional 3rd party software. Additionally, the new interface has also been redesigned to make less frequent administration tasks more intuitive. Businesses and developers looking to add call voice mail, call control and/or faxing functionality to additional applications will be able to consume system functions using XML Web Services through the integration tools available with Callegra .UM. Callegra .UM Web Services SDK allows developers to harness the power of Callegra’s telephony and messaging strengths within their own applications, bringing new possibilities to converged communication. Callware will have both business and technical representatives at the PC Expo show to discuss all facets of the new Callegra .UM release. Please stop by the Microsoft Partner Pavilion (booth 3604) to see Callegra .UM.
