Callware announces APL Listing for Callegra.UC 6.15 JITC
Callware Technologies announces as of September 5, 2013 its flagship product Callegra.UC 6.15 JITC is on the United States Department of Defense (DoD) Approved Product List (APL), making the product available for purchase and to reside over all DoD network infrastructures worldwide.
This is Callware’s fifth certification from DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), showing its continued commitment to meet Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) security requirements.
Because of the products superior capabilities and continual listing on the APL list since October 2004, it is the primary voicemail replacement for all branches of the U.S. military worldwide, including the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, and other strategic DoD operations.
Callegra.UC JITC is an enterprise solution that is AS-SIP enabled and IPv6 compliant. It provides voicemail, unified messaging, auto attendant, text-to-speech (TTS), voice recognition, and voice/fax message access from the telephone, Microsoft Outlook, or the Internet. The product also provides the DoD with simultaneous switch integration support for legacy telephone switches and the newly deployed Local Session Controller (LSC) switches.
In order to receive APL Listing status, this product passed the Field Security Operations (FSO) recommended certification on August 12, 2013 based on security testing completed by the SPAWAR (Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command) and the Naval Voice Laboratory-led information assurance (IA) test teams. This solution also achieved interoperability (IO) certification from JITC on August 26, 2013.
