CallegraRECOVERY provides advanced warm site disaster recovery for either a mission critical local site or across an entire multi-site enterprise. Callegra.UC’s DataCenter server architecture employs disaster recovery technologies including replicated file storage and SQL mirroring to enable Real Time replication of the Callegra.UC User database across the LAN.
- Real-time Disaster Database Backup
- 24/7 Uptime Assurance
- Complete System Mirroring
- Local or remote Administration
In the event of catastrophic failure of the primary Callegra.UC DataCenter Server, Callegra.UC TelephonyServices server(s), either on or off-site can be quickly re-directed to the IP address of the CallegraRECOVERY server, which can also reside on or off-site. Once the Ethernet hand shake occurs between the Callegra.UC TelephonyServices server(s) and the CallegraRECOVERY server, the Real Time redundant disaster backup of all User information and messages come online enabling rapid service restoration.
CallegraRECOVERY brings enterprise level continuity of operations across multiple independent sites that may have a variety of PBXs from different manufacturers. In the event of a disaster at the primary Callegra.UC DataCenter located at the Main Site, CallegraRECOVERY enables rapid service restoration. The Callegra.UC TelephonyServices servers at the remote sites continue to take calls and process messages for all incoming outside caller traffic.
Once the system administrator at the remote sites redirects their Callegra.UC TelephonyServices server(s) to the CallegraRECOVERY server located at the Continuity of Operation (COOP) site all Callegra.UC system Users can then access their messages as the entire Enterprise is restored to full system functionality.
If an enterprise has implemented networking between the PBX’s, CallegraRECOVERY can enable complete unified communications redundancy, including port connectivity, in the event of a disaster at the main site.
