“In 1996, we introduced the CallWare Series 5 as a turnkey solution incorporating our computer telephony product and standard hardware. After realizing that almost 2/3 of all businesses do not even have voice mail, we decided to change our focus slightly,” said Reino Kerttula, executive vice president of Marketing for CallWare Technologies.
“The end result is Series 5 by CallWare, a software solution providing entry into the voice mail market with an affordable and easy upgrade path to a full computer telephony solution. Series 5 by CallWare is also available in a bundled hardware and software package through CallWare distributors.”
In addition to a seamless software upgrade path to total computer telephony and advanced networking solutions, Series 5 by CallWare features a complete auto attendant, call routing and message taking, directory listings, distribution lists, special delivery options and top-level security.
“Series 5 by CallWare offers everything a small or medium-sized business needs to enjoy the benefits of voice mail,” Kerttula said. “Perhaps most important, this system will expand to include additional users and functionality as a business grows.”
CallWare offers improved communications and intelligent call management applications to businesses of all sizes. With CallWare’s advanced computer telephony features, users can instantly see their voice and fax messages with the time and date a message was left, length of the message and caller information displayed graphically.
This information allows the user to intelligently decide which messages to address first. A user can play messages in any order he or she wishes, eliminating the linear method of the telephone keypad interface.
CallWare delivers unified messaging by integrating its voice and fax products with popular e-mail packages including Novell GroupWise, MS Exchange/Outlook and Lotus Notes. CallWare solutions also use the Internet as a mechanism to provide global communication without long-distance charges.
