CallWare Technologies enters joint marketing agreement with Voice Technologies Group

CallWare Technologies Inc. announced a joint marketing agreement with Voice Technologies Group (VTG).

The two companies are cooperating to provide advanced computer telephony solutions to users with existing Legacy telephone systems by integrating CallWare software solutions with VTG’s VoiceBridge Series II (VB-II). The agreement includes joint testing, co-marketing and cross training of products.

The VB-II product allows for a tighter integration between CallWare software and leading telephone systems, such as: Lucent, Nortel, Rolm, Mitel, NEC and Ericsson. This agreement adds new ways the CallWare voice messaging capabilities integrate with different PBX systems through various interfaces.

“This agreement came about from the realization that both companies and their customers could benefit greatly by establishing a more strategic business partnership,” stated Bob Pollock, director of sales for VTG. “With over 500 dealers, CallWare provides a tremendous opportunity for VTG’s products to reach new and well-informed customers.”

According to R. Craig Hansen, chief executive officer and president of CallWare Technologies, “We are happy to have entered into this agreement with VTG. Through the VB-II, we can offer quality integrations with popular telephone systems. This relationship gives CallWare a distinct advantage in total integration of our computer telephony applications with this select group of telephone systems.”

CallWare offers Internet-ready, CTI-enabled voice mail and desktop call center solutions that scale from small/medium-sized offices to enterprises with distributed locations. Benefits to users include: significant cost savings, improved communications, and “intelligent call management” applications.

In addition to powerful user features, CallWare voice mail solutions use the Internet as a mechanism to provide global communication without long distance charges, while integrating with over 250 telephone systems. This provides significant cost savings and performance improvements over traditional AMIS networking.

In 1989, VTG developed a unique approach for allowing communications applications, such as voice processing, to work more effectively with a variety of business telephone systems. Since then, over 7,000 customer applications worldwide use its growing family of integration, messaging, and multimedia products. Today, VTG is a market leader in its industry and is dedicated to preparing businesses for communication in the 21st century.
