DSAWG approves Callegra.UC 6.14 JITC SP1 Extension: T1 PRI QSIG/NI2 Integration

The Defense Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) approved an extension to Callware’s existing JITC Certification for Callegra.UC 6.14 JITC. Callware initiated a Desktop Review (DTR) procedure at the DoD’s Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) in order to test and review additional PBX integration types available for deployment within the DoD.

Callware requested the DTR to include Digital Transmission Link Level 1 (T1) Primary Rate Interface (PRI) Q Signaling (QSIG) and National Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) 2 (NI2) integration for voicemail, auto attendant, and telephone notification functionality.

Regression testing, conducted January 5 through 8, 2009, included additional interfaces.

The T1 PRI QSIG and NI2 interfaces support all the Callegra.UC 6.14 JITC SP1 applications, which include Auto Attendant, Voicemail, CallegraVOICE, CallegraFAX, CallegraINBOX, CallegraWEB, CallegraCOMMUNITY, CallegraRECOVERY and CallegraTTS.

The T1 PRI QSIG interface is certified with any Avaya S8400, S8500, or S87XX series switch listed on the DoD’s Approved Products List (APL).

The T1 PRI NI2 interface is certified with any Alcatel-Lucent Class 5 Electronic Switching System (5ESS) and the Siemens Elecktonisches Wahlsystem Digital (EWSD) currently listed on the APL.
